Salah satu persyaratan utama adalah memiliki tenaga ahli yang bersertifikat SKK yang mendukung kelayakan usaha dalam menjalankan proyek konstruksi.

Proses mendapatkan SBU bisa dilakukan dengan mengajukan permohonan kepada LPJK dengan melengkapi berbagai dokumen seperti surat izin usaha, laporan keuangan, dan data terkait tenaga kerja yang memiliki sertifikat SKK. Setelah permohonan diajukan, LPJK akan melakukan verifikasi terhadap kelayakan perusahaan. Jika dinyatakan memenuhi persyaratan, SBU akan dikeluarkan dan perusahaan dapat mulai menjalankan proyek konstruksi dengan legalitas yang jelas. Mudahnya proses ini sangat bergantung pada kelengkapan dokumen yang disiapkan serta kesiapan perusahaan dalam memenuhi standar yang ditetapkan oleh LPJK.

Selain itu, penting untuk menjaga kualitas dan kompetensi pekerja yang dimiliki oleh perusahaan. Karena SBU yang diterbitkan oleh LPJK memiliki masa berlaku tertentu, maka perusahaan perlu melakukan pembaruan sertifikat SKK dan SBU secara berkala agar tetap terjaga kelayakan dan kredibilitasnya dalam menjalankan proyek konstruksi. Proses ini tentu akan membantu perusahaan untuk memenangkan tender proyek konstruksi dan menjalin kerjasama dengan perusahaan-perusahaan besar yang membutuhkan jasa konstruksi berkualitas.

Bagi pekerja konstruksi, memiliki sertifikat SKK dan SBU juga akan membuka banyak kesempatan untuk bekerja dengan perusahaan-perusahaan besar, baik di dalam negeri maupun luar negeri.
